Butterfly Dreams - Inspired by Dawn McVey
My inspiration for this card is Dawn McVey. I cannot tell you how much the ladies of Papertrey inspire me - I draw something from each and everyone of you. Nicole's Blog is a stop for me every morning with my coffee before I head off to work.
My card:
Recipe
(All products Papertrey Inc., unless otherwise stated)
Stamp Set: Butterfly Dream and an older lady bug set by PTI for the antennae
Cardstock: Pure Poppy, Black, White and Vellum
Ink: Black and Stazon Black
Accessories: Pure Poppy Ribbon, Black Felt, Medium Scallop Die, DecoColor Liquid Gold Opaque Paint Marker (Marvy) and Fuschia Glitter Marker (American Crafts)
I had difficulty with my felt laying flat at the ends of the card. I wrapped it around which made it too thick. Next time I will cut it even with the front edge of the card.

Raspberry Suite Inspired by Betsy Veldman
New at Papertrey this month is the Raspberry Suite Color Couture by Dawn McVey. It is fabulous as it comes with supplies of coordinating cut outs that match Papertrey cardstock and buttons.
This card is inspired by Betsy Veldman's Inspiration #2 Color Couture Volume 2 (sorry no photo as it is an inspiration sheet from the color couture collection.
I changed my card by using a different stamp set, eliminated the cut out scallops and uses coordinating ribbon.
Recipe
Stamps - Turning a New Leaf and Background Petals
Cardstock - Berry Sorbet and Ripe Avocado as well as Turning a New Leaf DP
Ink - Spring Moss
Accessories - Berry Sorbet Ribbon and Buttons, Twine, Scallop Edge Punch, and cut outs from Raspberry Suite Color Couture
Sending Hugs
This card was inspired by a designer at Papertrey Inc., however I am at a loss as to which designer it was. I made changes to the inspiration card with a different background stamp, no ribbon (very hard for me) and using stitched felt "sweet pea" flower.
Flower Power Floral Petal Background Card
It has been awhile since I posted. On vacation this week, and what is a dream vacation to me? Stamping of course and sitting in my craft room for hours on end being creative (or at least attempting).
