Updated Flowers in Reverse

I previously posted a card for a Papertrey Challenge and I have updated it.  I'm in love with the grid background and the new gray color "Weathervane", so I had to use those stamps.  I also added Wink O Stella for some shimmer and used a different stamp set for the flowers that seemed more to scale.

For my transformation, I used a card I recently completed for another challenge.  After having it sit in front of me on my desk, I felt the scale was off (i.e. flowers to leaves).  In addition, my Cover Up Grid stamp came and I believe it was Laurie who had a card with layers of grey which I loved.  I made the background simpler, more dimension with pop ups, a little shine with Wink of Stella and all one color other than the grid to pop the colored leaves.

Papertrey 8th Anniversary Blue Ombre Card Challenge

Today we introduced Blue Skies, which has us thinking about the color blue!  Your challenge today is to create a blue ombre card using all your favorite shades of this beautiful color,  It can be an ombre background, several of the same image stamped in shades of blue, ombre inking of a bold stamp or whatever else you dream up!

 I used three different blue inks to give an ombre effect to my background.
