I have been wanting to break open and play with the newly released "Seasonal Borders:  Spring".  As the name applies it is a border die that includes dies and stamps for the individual florals and leaf.  I had to stop myself from using the Farmer's Market Floral Set (just can't set it down). 

The center of the florals include a black inked stamen which I did to draw in the black background and bow.  Speaking of the bow - I hope I never run out of this black/white gingham ribbon (its my favorite).

I'm Cuckoo for You

I was inspired by Mary Rose's Cafe https://maryrosescafe.blogspot.com/2018/02/pti-11th-anniversary-retirement-list.html creation.  I used slightly different colors, different text placement, base for clock and the addition of leaves.

I pulled out one of my stampin up colors of all time "Groovy Guava" for the accent color.

Masculine Card

I made this card for a challenge at the card concept blogspot.com.  I was immediately drawn to the coffee color with the beautiful white swirls and the floral bouquet.  However, I wanted to make it more masculine for an upcoming birthday I needed a card for so I added just the green leaves.  I believe it is in the category of Clean and Layered and possibly Clean and Simple.

PTI 2018 11th Anniversary Challenge 1

The inspiration and challenge I chose was by Melissa Bickford.  The challenge is to stamp sentiments onto a dies cut or panel and mat with scalloped shape.  Arrange stamped die cut flowers and leaves around the sentiment piece.  Adhere to card front with a mix of flat and foam adhesive for interest.  Melissa's example of her work may be found at https://blog.papertreyink.com/2018/02/11th-anniversary-day-1-meet-our-design-team-sketch-challenge/

I used brushed birds on a card for the Make It Monday challengewhich may be seen on my blog at https://joanne-creativepursuits.blogspot.com/ and wanted to update it to something better.  Thus this is my creation for the 11the PTI Anniversary - day 3.  I am so in love with the new Brushed Birds Stamp Set. I die cut lots from the die and have been playing with various card ideas since. Having a bunch made up in advance makes it go quick as long as your creative mind is quick. Sometimes I take forever to come up with a design idea (sometimes days) and others the creative juices just flow.
