Thank You Bokeh Background

It has just stuck in my mind as one of the most beautiful cards.  I had some after Christmas thank you cards to make and I immediately had her creation come to mind.  I did some things different (i.e., no white nuvo drops on trees, no water drops on background, used Bokeh stamps for snow appearance on background, added a bow on the fence and different text and some colors.  My bow is a little off as far as scale.  If anyone has suggestions of a stamp set that would have a more to scale bow in it, I would love your suggestion. 

This card also gave me an opportunity to practice blending which I am not good at.  I have heard distress ink is better for blending?  Does anyone believe that to be true?

Feminine Birthday

I was inspired by Kelly Lunceford's thank you card (a team member of Papertrey Ink, my all time favorite stamp company).  I used different colors, embossing design, left some of the elements off the seasonal border, did not use two clusters, did not leave a white area for text and used a birthday die sentiment. Her original design and layout may be seen at Kelly Lunceford


In addition, it is typical for all my cards that the supplies are at least 90% or more Papertrey Ink.  However, in this card I mixed several of my favorite items from several different companies.

Details - White embossed paper is 2 x 5 1/2 inches and Designer Paper is 2 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches

Vault Birthday Card

My husband asked that I make a special card for his buddy's 70th Birthday Party.  The theme was to go along with a collectible 100 Trillion Dollar Bill from Zimbabwe.  Therefore the safe theme.

No Dies or Stamps were used as it had to be a specialty size.  The front of the card used non copyrighted images and a punched name plate.
