I struggled with this card as on the 1st try after I checked to see if my tissue paper was dry with the glue/water solution. One day later it was not - to my horror I discovered that the paper I was using had a slick shiny side and so I thought okay, that is why it is not dry and all the layers separated from one another and the card stock. No more white tissue paper, so the 2nd time I used what I had (brown tissue paper with no shiny side). I was sure this would do the trick. Went through the process and laid it aside to dry overnight. Got up third morning and the same thing happened as in the first and second try. Isn't there a saying "try try again". I was frustrated by this point and said to myself it must be the proportions of water to glue. I was determined not to fail again - so I scrapped that process and went with a different one to achieve the same look. I used Mod Podge Matte for the process. Getting up this morning after allowing it to dry overnight I remember grumbling if this doesn't work this time - its time to step away from the project. YEAH this technique worked but didn't show the amount of detail that Nichol's process did. Oh well, I burnished it with my score pal tool and said this is as good as it will ever get.
